About Us
At Angel’s Home Welfare Organization, we believe that every individual—regardless of disability, trauma, or social status—deserves dignity, safety, and compassionate care.
We are a registered welfare organization based on Chamkani Road in Peshawar, Pakistan. As a trusted NGO, we provide specialized care and rehabilitation for children and adults with mental or physical disabilities, as well as others facing extreme vulnerability.
Our center welcomes people of all ages—both with and without disabilities—ensuring no one is left behind. We serve people with the greatest humanitarian need. The beneficiaries of our services are the most marginalized people of our society, who are the neediest of the needy; which includes the disabled, orphans, women, addicts, elderly, affected by war, trauma, violence, and others.

How it all started ?
There is actually a dire need for care centers where such people are not only treated and kept for a few hours daily but can live their lives peacefully knowing that they will not be thrown away on streets or handed over to mental asylums but actually be provided with life-long tailored physical arrangements and custom made services to lead a dignified life.

Our social welfare center operates in the heart of Peshawar, one of the oldest cities in Asia. Despite its vibrant culture, Peshawar today faces growing social and humanitarian challenges.
Why Our Services Matter : The Reality in KPK
Our center stands as a beacon of hope in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), addressing the needs of people who have been neglected by the system for far too long.
- 32.5 million people live in KPK, including nearly 3 million Afghan refugees.
- 1.75 million individuals in KPK are living with disabilities—the second-highest in Pakistan.
- Peshawar is one of the poorest provincial capitals, with 31% poverty rate.
- Peshawar has recorded 395 terrorism-related deaths in one year; thousands more live with permanent disabilities.
- Injuries and drug addiction are rampant among the youth due to war proximity and border drug trafficking.
- KPK has the highest number of drug users in Pakistan.
- Peshawar also suffers from the highest polio virus detection rate in the country.
- And yet, there is a severe lack of care centers, rehabilitation homes, or specialized support systems for these individuals.
Angel’s Home was founded to fill this painful gap.
Amaan Programme – From Streets to Shelter
Amaan Programme is a flagship initiative of Angel’s Home Welfare Organization, focused on rescuing, sheltering, and rehabilitating abandoned and disabled individuals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Every day, mentally and physically challenged people—unclothed, unfed, and untreated—are found lying on pavements, wandering near shrines, or struggling at bus stations and hospitals. Most are ignored or excluded from support systems due to the complexity of their conditions.
Amaan steps in where no one else will.
We rescue these forgotten lives and offer them a permanent home, dignity, and care. At Angel’s Home, they are not treated as patients but embraced as family—receiving nutritious meals, clean clothing, hygiene support, therapyies and, most importantly, love and acceptance.
Whether it’s a child, an elderly mother, or a mentally challenged man left to survive on the streets—Amaan restores their humanity and their hope.

Caregiving Department
- Caregivers or caretakers are critical partners in the overall care and welfare of people with disabilities.
- Our caregivers provide the ultimate assistance to our residents in performing activities of daily living and others.
Rehabilitation Department
- Our Rehabilitation department focuses on integrating or re-integrating our physically, sensory(ally), mentally, and/or psychologically impaired residents into as full and as normal life activities as possible.
